SLY DOG is a start-up rum brand on a mission to disrupt. Their product is secretly crafted using a fiercely guarded recipe of unique spices. They came to us to create a bottle concept that was unique and evoked their uncompromising attitude.
Our approach is a modern typographic design that is never quite revealed. The impact and scale of the text is a pre-cursor to the experience.
The bottle stands out and contrasts competitors in a retail or dark bar environment. A total matt black finish helps the bottle absorb light and stand alone. A sharp bite of neon orange captures the fiery flavour and helps customers understand the product immediately.
After a few months of trading Sly Dog won a 2021 World Rum Award – Silver.
